Subject: "Monthly Work Report for the
Month August, 2015"
Dear Respected Sir,
1. Acts Bible
College
(1) All the students collected some gifts (money, cloths)
among
themselves and participated in flood relief program for our
church members in
Kalay areas.
(2) All students took the responsibility of assisting
one
female missionary of Church On The Rock, when her father (85)
passed
away. Her mission field is 10 kilometers away from the campus.
(3)
All students collected money the second time for a
student who does not have
bus fare (from Yangon to Kalaymyo),
including extra use on the journey. This
student returns home as her
old mother, a widow, has lost everything in the
flood.
2. Church On The Rock
(1) The church collected all kinds of
goods among church
members for flood victims (oversea church members) in
Hakha, Kalay,
Khyarinn and Pingkhungkyi.
(2) The church collected the
second time for the latest
victims of mud flood. At this village, called
Tuikhing, 30 households
are Church On The Rock. A mud flood swallowed their
village. The mud
is as thick as five feet in general.
(3) Church On The
Rock in Satawn, Kalay, provided shelter
for 70 victims of this mud
flood.
The mother of Rev. Dar Chum Ling, pastor of Church On The Rock
at
Kyarinn (my mother-in-law's village) died due to her stoke. But it
was
worsened by the flood. As all transportation had been devastated,
she
lacked nutrition in her daily diet, which they believe would result
in
her quick death. My mother-in-law still stays with her relative as
the
cleansing of sticky mud requires a bid deal.
My family enjoys the
presence of the Lord in all areas. We always feel
highly indebted to offer
our praises to the Lord for the love of NPWM
and our partner church, Open
Blessing Church.
Yours in His service
Pastor Hrang
Kham
